The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has announced the following decision:

Olympique de Marseille v Club Atlético de Madrid, 16/05/2018
Charges against Olympique de Marseille:
- Crowd disturbances – Art. 16 (2) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR)
- Acts of damages – Art. 16 (2) DR
- Setting off of fireworks - Art. 16 (2) DR
- Throwing of objects – Art. 16 (2) DR
- Late kick-off – Art. 11 (2) DR
Decision: The CEDB has decided:
• To exclude Olympique de Marseille from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it will otherwise qualify. This exclusion is deferred for a probationary period of two (2) years.
• To order Olympique de Marseille to play its next (1) UEFA competition match as host club behind closed doors.
• To order the partial closure of the Olympique de Marseille stadium
during the subsequent UEFA competition match in which Olympique de
Marseille would play as the host club, and, in particular Olympique de
Marseille shall close the stands at the northern and southern ends.
In this regard, Olympique de Marseille is ordered to inform UEFA about
the exact sector(s) at the earliest opportunity, at the latest 10 days
before the relevant subsequent home match.
• To fine Olympique de Marseille €100,000.
• To order Olympique de Marseille to contact Olympique Lyonnais, in
whose stadium the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League final was held, in order to
pay for the damage caused by its supporters, this within 30 days as
from the notification of this decision.
